Eucalyptus, is commercially grown in plantations in Brazil; however, it is not uncommon for other Eucalyptus strains to grow in the UK.  This particular tree was removed from a local farmland on the Isle of Wight, as it was near the end of its life.  Having purchased a particularly nice plank, a cheeseboard emerged from it!  As all timber is subject to seasonal movement, this item is supported by three small Beech-wood feet, to keep it as level as possible on your table.  Finished with Food Safe Tung Oil, this is a very colourful item.
